The Garden Route is a popular holiday in South Africa and consists of a trail through a few picturesque towns in South Africa. The Garden Route lies in the Cape not too far from Cape Town! It has a Mediterranean maritime climate, with moderately hot summers, and mild to chilly winters.

It is one of the richest rainfall areas. The area is renowned for ostrich farms, whale tours (the whale has turned the big five into the big six) and wine tours.
