Broederstroom
Broederstroom is a small town in the North West Province of South Africa. The town lies on the Daspoortrand in the foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountains and is situated in stunning, rural scenery.
Broederstroom is also in close proximity to Johannesburg and Pretoria, being roughly a 40 minute drive away. The town is a great base for any tourist because it is near many attractions such as Sun City, Hartbeestpoort Dam, the Magaliesberg Nature Reserve and the Cradle of Mankind
The area hosts many activities such as hiking and tourist trails, allowing you to take in the immense beauty the area has to offer whilst having a lot of fun. The Crocodile Ramble and the Magalies Meander are great examples of this. There is also the Snake and Reptile park nearby giving an insight into South Africa’s more exotic creatures. For those who are interested in South African culture ,the Lesedi Cultural Village is only a stone’s throw away giving you an authentic African experience with dance displays, craft market, presentations and restaurant.
