For Elephant lovers this is the place to be! The park was set up in 1931 when there were only eleven elephants left in the area. Since then it has vastly expanded to having over 400 elephants.
The West Coast National Park is not quite the conventional safari park and is more for bird lovers and sea lovers.
Interested in Game? Golden Gate National park is where you need to be hosting such animals such as black wildebeest, eland, blesbok, oribi, Burchell’s zebra and of course the countries national springbok! Bird lovers do not feel left out as the park is home to the rare bearded vulture and the bald ibis!
The Kalahari Gemsbok National Park was formed in 1931 to protect the migratory game especially Gemsbok! In the late 1990’s it joined with the gemsbok National Park to Form the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (one of the first in Southern Africa.)
