Little Explorers

I was quite young when I left South Africa and my memories are very mixed however one thing I do remember is my trip to The Lost City. We had been twice before but the last time I went was the best. For kids especially this is the place to be with many flumes and activities to do in the Sun. The Lazy River is so exciting and you feel like you are going on your own personal adventure through the tunnels and the cave!! The flumes are also great including tyre flumes. However the water ride I will never forget is their very own "Drop of Courage" it is a vertical water slide (suitable for children over a certain height). I remember standing there at 15 years old being scared to death as I watched these 7 year old fly down it with ease. What a woose I felt! hehe

It is an adventure paradise looking like an old ruin. It has its own beaches and you really feel like you have stumbled upon an old African civilisation left in ruins. Even though it was only a day trip it is certainly something that I will never forget and will tell my grandchildren about someday!!
